Description
GP-7100-E is a 50% silicone solids emulsion of an amine-alkyl modified methylalkylaryl silicone polymer. The amine groups present in GP-7100-E help promote ionic attachment to mold surfaces providing better release than is obtained with conventional paintable silicone emulsions. The following list summarizes some of the special features of GP-7100-E:
- Stable Emulsion
- Dilutable in Hard or Soft Water
- Organic-Compatible
- Good High Temperature Stability
- Fine Particle Size
- Good Lubricity
- Nonflammable

Applications
GP-7100-E is to be used as a mold release agent for the following types of parts:
- Metal Forming and Casting
- Rubber
- Plastic
- Automotive Gaskets
GP-7100-E is also recommended as a textile lubricant.
Processing and Safety Guidelines
As with any contaminant, it is recommended that GP-7100-E residues should be removed from surfaces prior to painting or bonding for best results. However, if removal is not complete, residue of GP-7100-E will not cause fisheyes, orange peel, or similar effects associated with conventional dimethyl silicones. For safety information, refer to Safety Data Sheet.
Packaging/Handling/Storage
GP-7100-E PAINTABLE SILICONE EMULSION is supplied in 5-gallon (18 kg.) pails, 55-gallon (200 kg.) drums and 330-gallon (1200 kg.) totes. If frozen, thaw, then mix. Do not store below 40°F or above 80°F.
